Student Dress Code
All students in grades k-8 are required to wear a uniform at all times during school hours. Uniforms are expected to be neat and clean. Parents should label their child's name on all articles of clothing. Uniforms may be purchased from the Flynn and O'Hara Uniform Company, (800) 441-4122. UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS The uniform is a symbol of St. Patrick's School and should be worn with pride. In grades PreK-8 the complete uniform, including the uniform shoe must be worn each day. The shoes may be purchased at any of the local stores indicated on a printout available in the office. Gym shirts are purchased at the front office of the school. Socks are knee socks or tights indicated on the uniform order sheet. Tennis socks or peds (low cut white socks) are NOT appropriate. On gym days only, the students may wear their gym uniform to school. No other type of gym clothing may be worn, just the official school gym uniform. Sneakers may be worn on gym days only. The school shoe is a black leather shoe that has ties or velcro and a rubber bottom with no more than a one inch heel. No high heels or stacked heels are allowed. No loafers are allowed. Boots may be worn in inclement weather, but must be changed upon arrival. GRADES 1-5 Girls

PRE K AND KINDERGARTEN St. Patrick's gym uniform. Sneakers are to be worn every day in PreK and K. The Kindergarten students wear the gym uniform every day with the exception of the gym shirt. The Kindergarten uniform uses the collared polo shirt. On gym days they wear the gym T-shirt in place of the polo shirt. Kindergarten students wear sneakers every day. HAIR AND ACCESSORIES Boys are required to have a traditional "regular" haircut. Other hair styles such as tails, dyed hair and shaved heads are not appropriate. Boys are not permitted to wear facial hair or earrings. Jewelry must be worn in moderation and must be taken off during gym for safety reasons. Girls may not wear dangling or over sized earrings, necklaces or bracelets. Girls may not wear makeup to school. CLASS TRIP ATTIRE The individual teacher will clarify class trip attire depending on the nature of the trip and the location. NO UNIFORM DAY On occasion the Principal will give a NO UNIFORM DAY. If the student chooses to wear jeans, they must not be baggy, ill fitting, or torn. Girls' skirts must not be shorter than knee length. Shoes must be appropriate and sensible and always worn with socks.
